These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of Mamedica Limited's websites and services. By accessing our website or engaging with our clinic, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

(2) Website use

Your use of our websites and online platforms ("Online Platforms") is subject to these Terms & Conditions. This includes any social media accounts operated by Mamedica.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reproduce, duplicate, or exploit our content.
  • Transmit harmful or unlawful material.
  • Breach copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights.
  • Interfere with the platform's functionality or security.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove access to our Online Platforms at any time.

(3) Medical information disclaimer

The content on our Online Platforms is for general informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing any treatment.

Mamedica does not diagnose conditions. Our services support patients already diagnosed and referred by a GP or specialist.

(4) Clinical services

New patients

Appointments are subject to availability. Before your consultation, you must:

  • Complete intake forms.
  • Provide medical history.
  • Consent to access your GP records.

Existing & transferring patients

If you’re transferring from another clinic, your consultation schedule will be adjusted based on your current treatment stage.

Prescriptions

Prescriptions are issued at the sole discretion of our clinicians. These may be fulfilled by Mamedica Dispensary Limited or any pharmacy of your choosing. We may charge a £10 admin fee for prescriptions sent elsewhere.

We do not guarantee that a prescription will be issued.

(5) Fees & payments 

All fees are listed at the time of booking. Payment confirms your appointment. Prices include VAT where applicable.

Cancellations

  • 48+ hours notice: Reschedule or cancel for free.
  • Less than 48 hours or no-shows: £50 fee may apply (Access Scheme).

Refunds follow a 14-day policy unless services have already been delivered.

Late payments

Unpaid invoices may incur interest at 3% above the Bank of England base rate.

(6) Data protection & confidentiality

We collect and process your data in accordance with UK data protection laws. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

You must keep your personal information accurate and up to date.

(7) Patient responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete health information.
  • Complete required assessments and questionnaires.
  • Notify us of any health or medication changes.

You must not use our services to:

  • Submit harmful, illegal, or offensive content.
  • Impersonate another person.
  • Breach confidentiality or consent requirements.

(8) Service changes & liability

We may update these terms or suspend services for technical or regulatory reasons.

Mamedica is not liable for:

  • Delays beyond our control.
  • Personal or business losses.
  • Use of our services outside intended medical purposes.

(9) Complaints

We take complaints seriously. Submit your concerns via email or phone. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and resolve them promptly.

(10) Legal framework

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes, including those related to card processing or payments, will be handled in English courts.
